Today we have placed a speaking valve on Ashlee's Trech....Let's Pray she tolerates it.....Let's Pray she can say at least one word......anything.....any word will do!! She is making a few sounds......I will keep you all updated ♥ YOU CAN DO THIS ASH!!! ♥

She does not talk - She just makes sounds as of now -

NOV 28TH 2010 ~ The day our lives changed FOREVER!

Well Prayer Warriors - the day is almost here - and our Ashlee is still here with us fighting everyday like the fighter she is!!!!

She responds more with her eyes and tries to focus!! It's so amazing! The doctors told us at one point she would never be able to do these things! And we always told them "Our GOD is a BIG GOD" And he performs miracles!! He is the Master Physician and we Trust IN Him!! Amen!!

Lord Thank You for Protecting Ashlee during this trial you have allowed her to go through- may this trial bring many to know you and many to change their lives!!

Please continue to heal her Lord - We understand this may take many years - but as long as you are by our sides we can do all things through CHRIST who Strengthens us!!

We look forward to another year of even BIGGER MIRACLES with Ashlee - Let's PRAY she is completely restored!

Still Fighting!!

Hello Ashlee"s Prayer Warriors!!

So much has been happening this past month with Ashlee......it"s been a roller coaster ride! She continues to fight infections....she does well one week then the next she get"s extremely sick!!! We are leaning hard on our LORD!!!! She has been temporally transferred to a bigger hospital for a complete check up. Closer to home..... better for us, we get more rest. THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and for continuing to be by our sides!!! We LOVE and Appreciate you all!!!   IT"S BEEN 10 MONTHS!!!!! :(    Lord heal her please!!

Ashlee - Sissy Misses you SO MUCH!!

WE try and spend as much time as WE can with Sissy and goof off and talk - she understands that Daddy and I need to be with you daily..........things are just not the same without you with us!!

So we wait patiently and PRAY every moment of the day for you!!!

You would be so proud of  your Sissy!!! She is being strong - working - going to school and most importantly PRAYING !! WE LOVE YOU ASH - REST BABY GIRL - LET JESUS HEAL YOU!!

Those Darn Infections!!!!

This past month has been very exciting and very emotional - Ashlee responded with her eyes to simple commands (July 2011)! She would blink her eyes when we would ask her too - we would say "Ashlee, blink your eyes twice for Mama and Daddy" and she would!!!!! She moved her right hand slowly on command - Then two weeks ago she started getting sick again!! Infections! It's inevitable - with all the ports she has in her body, the infections are bound to happen! :(  We are with our baby girl everyday - we read to her - sing to her - and just talk about everything that's going on with family and friends (babies being born,who's pregnant,birthdays,graduations ect..) We just continue to Pray for God's Mercy! God's fingerprints have been everywhere - We feel HIM with us!!! Ashlee was off the ventilator for about 1 month then they placed her back on Sunday 8/14/11 -                                                                                                                 She is Strong - She is a Fighter!!   One thing is for sure, ASHLEE is greatly loved!

“Because he loves me says the Lord I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation. “

Sunshine on Her Face!!!!

Today our Ashlee got to feel the Sun hit her Beautiful Face for the first time in 7 months! She was rolled out on a cardiac chair with her vent! ♥ She got to feel the sun for 10 minutes! :) I also got to have lunch with my Baby girl Lysh! Thank you Lord for my Two BEAUTIFUL GIRLS! WE ARE SO BLESSED!!!!

Thank you Mom (Grandma Pumpkinbread) for always taking care of us.........there are days we won't eat or sleep or shower......and BAM.......there you are.......rescuing us!!!! LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

7 Long Months!!

7 Months and GOD has never left our side!!!! AMEN! This past month has been a hard one on all of us.....Our poor Ashlee has been in and out of ICU all over the place!! Ashlee"s heart has been unpredictable......very very high at times......and extremely low other times. Need LOTS of Prayer.

Thank you Family and Friends who have been with us through this trial......we LOVE AND THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! The Fundraisers......Support.....Company.......Texts......Meals ........MOST OF ALL PRAYERS!!!!

Today June 2nd - I sit here at the side of my baby girls bed....Praying to the Lord!Praying for healing,complete healing. We miss her so much. Her Beautiful Face Glows...those her know her, Know how Rosy her cheeks get. She never needs to wear an ounce of make up.......she is just an Angel!
The Lord has really been with us thru this storm....everyday gets harder and harder, realizing it's been 6 whole months since we have heard her laugh,her voice her jokes......just her presence in our home!! It"s so quite and not the same.
I know my Alysha is missing her sissy so much....so I ask all you PRAYER WARRIORS....not only pray for Ashlee's Healing but for my Alysha's Healing of her lonely heart.
God is Good....and he will reveal soon the meaning behind this trial.....I already see so many lives changing due to this circumstance. LORD WE ALL COME TO YOU.....WE PRAISE YOU....YOU ARE THE MASTER PHYSICIAN....YOU ARE HOLY....GREAT AND MIGHTY. TOUCH HER LORD! AMEN!

Hello Friends and Family!

So here we are 1 month later since my last update. We had a few steps forward and a few back! Very emotional times!! Ashlee is now settled in her subacute facility. She will be here for awhile until she is well enough for us to bring her home! She is still non responsive....but she is there....she is in there trying to get out and communicate. God is really testing our patience!!!!  He is in control and we need to wait on him. We had the M.A.D.D walk on May 7th in Huntington Beach and cousin Ness did a fabulous job!!! Ashlee"s Warriors were everywhere!! Black and Pink Rocked it!!!!!  Please continue to pray for our Ashlee to be free from any infections or bacterias! LORD KEEP HER SAFE PLEASE...WE LOVE HER.....WE MISS HER!!!!!!!

Still Healing

Hello Family and Friends....sorry we have not updated in awhile. We have been so busy with our Ashlee. She unfortunatly is still in ICU now at a different Hospital.One that has a great Neurosurgeon. Ashlee has been vomitting for the past two months and they are trying to find the source. Many specialist on her case. They are thinking it may be Neuro related. So they may place a permenant shunt in her head to drain the fluid in her brain....that may be the source of the vomitting. PLEASE keep our ASHLEE in your Prayers!!! God is in control of this Storm and We Trust and Love HIM!!!

Back in ICU :(

We have been with Ashlee these past few weeks in ICU - She got very sick again. She is a fighter!!!!! And God surrounds her with HIS LOVE!!!

 Please keep Praying all you "Prayer Warriors!!"

Wonderful ANGELS Surrounding us!

Thank you to all who continue to surround us during this very long road we are going down! We know we are NEVER ALONE! God is with us and so are all of you!! It just amazes us that even though you are all busy with your families and activities - you still make time for The Morales Family! WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

Ashlee was safely transported to her Sub-Acute facility (A step down from ICU) yesterday! Thank you Lord for Healing and Removing all the infections in her body! Please continue to protect her! To God be the Glory!! ♥

What a Wonderful Testimony

So today I'm sitting in the "ICU Waiting room" while Ashlee is getting cleaned up. I start talking to a very nice man waiting for his wife while she was getting surgery. He asked me who I was waiting for and when I told him my daughter Ashlee - and a little bit of her story......he said "I read about her on her Blog!!" I have never met this man before that was from Monrovia.....he knew all about Ashlee....her blog.....and he has been Praying for her!!!! God is so good........Thank you Mike for praying for our Ashlee...It was a pleasure meeting you today not by coincidence but by Gods divine Appointment! It was meant to be......We will be praying for your wife as well!!! GOD BLESS!!

Ashlee is healing - The Lord is touching her and freeing her from all the infections in her body!! Her face is Shinning today ~ She is an Angel and she has many Angels caring for her!!!

A Few Steps Back......

Ashlee is very sick with an infection and is now back in ICU! Please continue to pray for our precious Baby Girl....
Lord please be with Ashlee and guide all the Nurses/Doctors hands when they are handling her.....reveal all that needs to be known to them, so they can treat her with the proper meds! LORD WE LOVE YOU! WE TRUST YOU!

Small Steps.....

Today Ashlee is in her new sub acute facility (A STEP DOWN from ICU) and closer to home! Praise God!! Protect her Lord! She was in ICU for 9 weeks!!!! We pray she will some day come home.......I want her to be back in her room....and just be in familiar surroundings!! GOD hears all our PRAYERS!! And he LOVES US!!

Birthday's and More Birthday's!!! :)

This weekend we celebrated Daddy's and Grandma's Birthdays with Ashlee and Alysha!! Hung out in Ashlee's Room and just spent time with her keeping her comfortable!

Material things mean nothing anymore.....All they both wanted for their Birthdays is our Ashlee to completely Heal and Come back to us! We Prayed with her....Sang to her...played Worship Music....Laughed and Cried. Lord Heavenly Father......everyday gets harder and harder for us.....we need  you Lord .....We Miss her...our Hearts Hurt.....Help us! In your Precious name AMEN!!

Today Ashlee is resting. Her Heart rate is good. I just massaged her and put lotion all over her. She Looks like an ANGEL. She has the rosiest cheeks. Hopefully she will be out of ICU soon. She has been here for 9 weeks!!! Too long......We can't wait to get her home some day!!
She is healing slowly....she knows our voices....especially her Daddy's!

My girls are Daddy's Girls ~~~~ And he is such an AMAZING Dad!!!!

Lysh spent the whole day with Ashlee yesterday ~~~ Ash recognized her voice too.....she was probably saying in her head "You better not be wearing my clothes Lysh!!"  or "You were in my Lotions and Body Sprays Huh???"  Lysh talks to her and we update Ashlee on things that are going on!!! :) She still does not respond to commands - we pray she will soon ~~

We are so Blessed with Wonderful Girls!!!! Thank you Lord!
